NOBU’s CommunityA lot of creative and skilled individuals are involved in the creation of NOBU BAGS. Our aim is to broaden this community with designers and artists who will contribute their ideas for diverse and unique cover designs.
B. Sc. Visual Communications
Helena Marolt finished her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, majoring in graphic design. She’s an art director in Studio Mars, where she brought the NOBU project from idea to execution. The desire for unification of experience in graphic design with something useful and communicative has shaped the idea of a postman bag with removable, interchangeable flap. Creative freedom while designing NOBU flaps is her reward. Like a good book, dinner in good company or … flawlessly executed Kanku Dai kata :-)
Sc. Engineer in Graphic Techniques
Ana lives and works in Škofja Loka, Slovenia. She began to work on paper and cardboard design in her high school years, but later discovered the charms of Inkscape and Gimp that led her to the world of vectors and pixels. She is intensely involved with digital illustration and graphic design for about six years. Everyday she keeps developing her analog skills such as drawing, crochet, knitting and sewing. For her creative approach she says it is enthusiastic and especially creative.
Martina was born in Trieste, Italy but was adopted by Ljubljana during her studies of graphic design on the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering. She loves autumn, warm colors, wood and a good pizza in the company of her friends. While writing her Master’s degree she became interested in biomimicry. In her work she enjoys finding the right idea for interpreting a message.
This privately owned trade mainly deals with sewing curtains. However, Mrs. Melita and her team are more than capable to take up any other sewing challenge. And they do it expertly, reliably and in time.

Two heads are better than one. If you would like to contribute to the NOBU project in any way, just send us a note. Your design may be on the next ‘front cover’. Your product could be the next addition or accessory to the bag. We also welcome your comments and suggestions on making NOBU BAG better.
